- Generated assets are not source-less assets; before intake, record tool/model, generation date, prompt summary, source references, input rights, edit/upscale/crop history, and final file path.
- If the asset contains people, celebrity likeness, real brands, trademarks, product appearance, artist style, places, or news events, mark likenessRisk, brandIpRisk, styleRisk, or contextRisk.
- Separate asset role: hero image, background texture, icon, illustration, product mockup, state preview, or training reference; the role controls reuse boundaries and alt text.
- Do not treat generated images as real product screenshots, real people photographs, or real case evidence; if it is a mockup, filename, alt text, and description should say generated/mockup.
- Record provenance fields: tool, model/version, createdAt, promptSummary, negativePrompt, sourceReferences, inputRights, editHistory, c2paOrWatermark, commercialUse, usageRoles, altText, and ragKeywords.
- If C2PA, Content Credentials, or a watermark exists, record how it was verified; if no signal is detected or retained, record that explicitly instead of claiming verification.
- Generated assets without provenance, unclear input rights, or unmarked protected brand/person risks must not enter reusable asset recommendations.
